My Adventures Through the Lens
The vast majority of my life is spent outside with either a fly rod, my oars, or my bow in hand. I live in and travel to very wild places – both for work and as a way of life. My world is a vast one where wildlife, sport, and breathtaking scenery combine in a manner that is so profound, for as hard as I might try, I could never assign words that would properly convey their natural majesty or pristine beauty. My time in the field is something I am committed to sharing for all who care to tune in. Sure, I’ll continue to write what I have seen and what I feel though, I hope that my photographs will serve to fill in the gaps where my words fall short. Furthermore, I hope that a few of the scenes I’ve captured through my lens will inspire feeling in you the way they have in me and, if you care to hold a more intimate connection to them, I have made them available here for you to order.
I work with a couple of really great vendors to make it simple to have a print in your home, and in doing so, I can have metal, canvas or acrylic copies dropped to your door. I design a few different print & material options with every photo but, I can customize sizes and orientations in a number of ways so, if there is a specific format you are interested in, feel free to reach out.
Throughout each month, I’ll add more photos to the gallery as this life of mine takes me from theater to theater. Stay tuned and, thanks so much for being here. Holler if I can answer any questions for you.

Brauma
I wonder where he is now? He winters near the headwaters of the Grizzly’s Paw every year before making his way west through the valley in mid-January. I’ve only known of a few deer in my lifetime who don’t follow a reciprocal migration route. Brauma marches to the beat of his own drum.
Readily available as metal print – 16″x20″
Custom orders available.
Tripod
Between his G2 & G3, on his right side, he sprouted an equally long kicker that reaches outward & upward – resembling the third leg of an upside-down tripod. Very cool deer.
Metal & Acrylic prints available – 16″x20″
Custom orders available.

Bucky w/ a Broken G4
I’m very happy with how this shot came out but, what brought the most satisfaction came from watching my 8 year-old put the stalk on this buck for a shot on his 200mm.
Readily available as metal print – 16″x20″
Custom orders available.
One Horn
When this deer emerged from a patch of cedars, he stopped to turn in my direction and as he did so, his left antler dropped to the ground at his feet.
Readily available as metal print – 16″x20″
